华人子女学中文 Chinese For Chinese Descendent
海外华人家长的一大心愿就是子女不要忘了中文。大家也想了很多办法，比如上周 末中文学校，每年送孩子回国过暑假，送孩子上有中文选修课的学校等，但往往要 么效果不彰，要么所费不赀，结果变成“尽人力而知天命”了。其实，只要跟我们的中 国老师在网上学中文，既不用每年来回飞，也不必每周来回跑。只要到约定的时间 ，打开视频，就可以让孩子跟一个活生生的老师学中文了，而家长则可以在一旁干 自己的事情。
有人说，我自己中文说得很好，我自己教不就可以了？当然可以，有很多家长自己 培养出来的孩子中文英文都是呱呱叫。但很多时候，下班回来已经很累了，还要做 家务或者加班，再打点精神教孩子中文就有点心有余而力不及了。还有，会说中文 不代表会教中文，老师的学历不一定比家长高，知识不一定比家长丰富，但他们都 经过专门培训，知道怎么矫正发音更有效，怎么解释更容易记住。另外，孩子们还 有一个特点，老师的话总比家长的话有权威，有一个好的专门的中文老师，往往能 起到事半功倍的效果。
还有的人说，那让孩子上周末中文学校不就可以了？当然也可以，如果孩子非常自 觉，家长又辅导督促得当的话。语言是门艺术，不是明白道理就可以的，需要天天 讲，天天练。我们每周五天，每天一堂50分钟的课，可以让孩子获得比较强的语感， 真正学到、用到和记住中文。其实细想一下，小时候的语文课是不是也要每天上啊 ？而且那时候还是处在完全的中文语境里。
另外，我们还可以根据学生和家长的需要，帮助找到一个在中国的语伴。语伴与孩 子同龄，可以互相练习中文和英语，互相辅导功课，互相帮助，一起克服成长的烦 恼。

This program is for the second or third generation of Chinese immigrant. Generally, the first generation Chinese immigrants always speak Chinese at home or with friends. However, the next generations are often reluctant to embrace the heritage until high school or college, when they find the importance of the language and the culture. This program will help the concerned parents to develop the bilingual capability of their kids at an earlier time or as a remedy.
Please note that this program will not conflict with the weekend Chinese school. Indeed, they will be great complement for each other. The weekend Chinese school will provide a great place for students and parents to meet, social, and practice, while this program will give the students an opportunity to immerse into the world of Chinese language.
We will not only provide an instructor to teach the student, but also locate a language companion at the child’s similar age. The kids will grow together and most likely, become lifelong friends.
